Playing guitar since 10, have developed a style
similar to the late sixties and seventies sound.
Major influences include Deep Purple, Black Sabbath,
Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep.Some of the albums that have
provided infulence are, Deep Purple in Rock, Machine
Head, Fireball, Perfect Strangers, The House Of Blue
Light and any Deep Purple live albums. Led Zeppelin
albums 1, 2, 3, and 4. Black Sabbath's first four
albums and Uriah Heep's The Magician's Birthday
and Deamons and Wizards. Also classical music as well
as any excellent high energy country music.(not the
cry in your beer and slit your throat music which
is so evident of today).
Songwriting is a new addition in recent
years, and working with partner Allison
Prior has proved to be a perfect match.
Song arrangement is just another talent that
Bernie has developed over the last few years.
This is quite evident when listening to the
orginals or covers that are preformed by both
bands. If you have lyrics and need music

Bernie had put together his own studio in
order to record the orginal material that
was written by Allison Prior and himself.
After discovering how expensive studio time
is, he decided to do it himself.

Bernie handles the task of looking after the sound for both bands, and has discovered some very strange ways of using the equipment he has.
Relying heavly on improvisation skills,
composing catchy riffs and chord progressions
come very easy.

For all the young musicians and old as well,who keep comming up against brick walls all the time, I know exactly where you are comming from. I have and still am there. For those people who love the originators of early rock and roll, there has been quite a few people who have taken great pride in giving their respect to these outstanding preformers.
